According to IT Development Center which provides the web hosting and service provision for technical tasks, on August  10,2014  the cyber attack was carried out on the server where  the official website of “National Communications Commission” is placed alongside the other websites.

Providing backup and recovery, as well as scanning  administration and user passwords on virus “scripts” was possible  the same day by 2 pm.

According to IDC - “National Communications Commission” was not the main target of the cyber attack  since other websites placed on the same server  have  been damaged as well.

Details of the accident are under investigation in order to determine how the attack gained access through the server. At the same time, the sites are being migrated into higher standards on protected servers in order to reduce the likelihood of such an accident in the future.
