Caucasus Online Ltd was imposed a fine for illegal retransmission of broadcasting channels at the session held today at the Georgian National Communications Commission.

Las month Super TV Ltd applied to the Commission informing about illegal retransmission of the broadcasting channels ”СТС“ and “Перец“. As a result of check-up made by the Broadcasting Regulation Department of the Commission it turned out that Caucasus Online Ltd was carrying out illegal retransmission of the following channels without presenting agreements at the Commission: ”СТС“, “Перец“, “Propoker”, “BBC Entertainment”, “BBC News”, “Lider TV”,  “MTV”, “MTV HD”,  “Style TV HD”, “Play TV”, “iconcerts HD”, “Trace Sports HD”, “Motors TV”, “Fashion TV HD”, “EUArmenia”.

 The representative of Caucasus Online attended the public session held at the Commission. After considering the issue, the company was imposed a fine in the amount of 30 000 GEL.
