The Georgian National Communications Commission commenced public administrative proceedings to issue a broadcasting license.

Comedy TV Ltd applied to the Commission for a license for private broadcasting through cable network. The type of the license is specialized (entertaining) broadcasting; the geographical area is Georgia; the broadcasting duration will be 24 hours.

A hearing of the issue will be held at GNCC on March 19, 2012, at 16:00. A Decision on issuance of the broadcasting license will be taken within 10 working days from the hearing.

An application and attached documentation submitted by Comedy TV Ltd to the Commission is in accordance with the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting.
