Commission Imposed Written Sanction on Silknet

The Georgian National Communications Commission imposed a written sanction of warning on the company Silknet.

According to the Commission some terms defined in agreements concluded between Silknet and subscribers of its mobile network does not correspond to the requirements of the Law of Georgia on Electronic Communications and the “Regulations on the Rules of Provision of Services and Protection of Consumer Rights in the Sphere of Electronic Communications”, because when concluding agreements, subscribers were not informed about the basic terms of service provision such as service tariffs, terms of limitation and termination of service and others.
