Conclusion of the Technical University

Taking into consideration different information about Stereo+ Ltd distributed through media the Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) applied to the Faculty of Power Engineering and Telecommunications of the Technical University of Georgia and requested technical conclusion as one more argument.

According to the answer received from the Technical University of Georgia closing of television signal or its cryptographic protection is possible using so-called scramblers and their technical realization is possible by modern technologies.

We remind you that director of Stereo+ Ltd David Zilpimiani declared that it was not Stereo+ Ltd’s aim to propagate a signal of 9th Channel Ltd on air. According to the laws of physics this was a parallel inevitable phenomenon to radio links service. In the last week the Commission offered Stereo+ Ltd to solve a problem sending coding signal and at the same time, for more reliability of the Commission’s recommendation, applied to the Technical University of Georgia for the technical conclusion. The technical conclusion prepared by the Faculty of Power Engineering and Telecommunications of the Technical University of Georgia coincided with the position of the Commission. It was not a surprise for the Commission.

The Commission is ready to present a copy of the conclusion of the Technical University of Georgia to any person concerned.
