Today, the Georgian National Communications Commission set the date of public hearing and main sessions on competitions for radio broadcasting license.

The public hearing session on competitions for radio broadcasting license will be held at the GNCC on December 2, 2013, at 16:00. At the session the Broadcasting Monitoring Department of the Commission will present a conclusion regarding the broadcasting conceptions. Besides, the license seekers and all interested parties will be given possibility to express their positions.

The main session on competitions for radio broadcasting will be held at the GNCC on December 3, 2013, at 16:00, where the Commission will announce the winner companies in the competition for eight broadcasting licenses.

 The Commission announced a competition for radio broadcasting licenses by the Decision of September 23, 2013.  Requests were submitted for eight broadcasting licenses. The list of the participants in the competition is as follows:

Broadcasting House Ltd – Batumi – private broadcasting; specialized (entertaining) radio broadcasting;

Broadcasting House Ltd – Kutaisi – private broadcasting; specialized (entertaining) radio broadcasting;

Radio Georgia Ltd – Gori - private broadcasting; specialized (entertaining) radio broadcasting;

Radio Georgia Ltd – Gori - private broadcasting; general radio broadcasting;

Radio Georgia Ltd – Kvareli - private broadcasting; specialized (entertaining) radio broadcasting;

Radio Georgia Ltd – Kvareli - private broadcasting; general radio broadcasting;

Europe Plus Tbilisi Ltd – Akhaltsikhe - private broadcasting; general radio broadcasting;

Europe Plus Tbilisi Ltd – Telavi - private broadcasting; general radio broadcasting;

Europe Plus Tbilisi Ltd – Gori - private broadcasting; general radio broadcasting;
