Document of Cooperation Has been Signed

 

The Memorandum of Cooperation between the Georgian National Communications Commission and the Regulatory Authority of the Portuguese Republic (ICP) has been drawn up. The Chairman of the Georgian National Communications Commission, Irakli Chikovani and the President of the National Communications Authority of the Portuguese Republic, Jose Manuel Amado da Silva signed the Memorandum in Lisbon.

The purpose of the Memorandum shall be the development of cooperation between the parties in the sphere of communications regulation and the exchange of experience. In connection with the rapid progress of communications branch the following cooperation areas shall be determined: facilitation to the development of effective telecommunications services of high quality; holding mutual consultations within the framework of joint projects in the sphere of communications branch regulation; exchange of specialists and experts; cooperation in ensuring the development of modern communications sector and finally, making arrangements of joint workshops and symposia concerning the regulation of the communications branch.
