The Georgian National Communications Commission gives explanations for the statement made by Nino Jangirashvili, director of TV Company Caucasia, in TV Company Maestro program Arguments with Tea Sichinava.

Nino Jangirashvili talked about the immediacy of the Commission in regard to Stereo+ Ltd. She stated that when using radio frequency spectrum, interferences were made to TV Company Caucasia, and her company sent a lot of letters and waited for months before the Commission reacted to the matter.

We would like to explain that the Commission got only one letter of this type in November 2008 to which the Georgian National Communications Commission reacted immediately. The monitoring team of the Commission studied the matter and found out that interferences to TV Company Caucasia were caused by functioning of the damaged equipment of one embassy. The Commission charged the embassy with solving the problem. TV Company Caucasia was informed about this in written form.

Groundless accusations of Nino Jangirashvili, director of TV Company Caucasia, are absolutely incomprehensible for the Commission.
