The Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) organized the regular open doors day.

Head of the Radio Frequency Management Department of the Georgian National Communications Commission, Sergo Shavgulidze and main specialist of the same Department, Nodar Aspanidze conducted a workshop for representatives of the leading media. Within the framework of the fourth open doors day the representatives of media listened to the following issues: transition to digital television broadcasting, radiofrequency spectrum, different types of frequencies and types of frequency bands used for different telecommunication services.

We remind you that the open doors day is organized monthly at GNCC. Meetings are held for journalists who report on the telecommunications field. We hope that information and knowledge acquired in the course of the workshop will help them in their professional activity in the future.
