Georgian National Communications Commission Set Tariff Caps on the IP Interconnection Wholesale Market

The Georgian National Communications Commission considered cost allocation models submitted by the Companies in order to set Interconnection tariff caps between the Internet Service Providers. In accordance with Legislation in force GNCC corrected the submitted models and set Enhanced Interconnection Service tariff caps between the Internet Service Providers to be approximately 5000 GEL at 1GB Interconnection Capacity.

Setting of the above-mentioned tariff caps will facilitate the drawing up of Enhanced Interconnection Agreement between the Internet Service Providers and will guarantee qualitative and stable Interconnection Service to get free, non-discriminatory and fair access to websites for subscribers of various Internet Service Providers.
