The private non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entity Georgian TV Broadcasting Iveria received private broadcasting license for activities via cable network at the session held today at the Georgian National Communications Commission.

The company shall commence broadcasting within two months as of the date of issuing the license. The type of the license is general broadcasting; the geographical zone is Tbilisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Poti, Senaki, Kutaisi and Rustavi cities. Broadcasting duration will be 18 hours.

The Georgian National Communications Commission commenced public administrative proceedings for the purpose of issuing private broadcasting license on July 29, 2011.
