As a result of the inspection carried out by GNCC, it has been revealed that ,,BATUMI MEDIA GROUP” Ltd is providing an illegal transit on the territory of Georgia and offers its consumers those broadcasting channels, on which company has no authority for re-transmission. With a regard to the fact that over recent years there have been continuous breaches from the company’s side and the company has never once presented proves of proper permits on any broadcasting channels existing in their packages, the Commission has fined ,,BATUMI MEDIA GROUP” Ltd in the amount of  27 000 GEL. Due to violations of the Georgian laws “on Copyright and Related Rights” and “on Electronic Communications,” the company has been assigned to immediately cancel the illegal re-transmission of miscellaneous TV channels on the Georgian territory.
