The Media Academy of the Georgian National Communications Commission hosted another training programme for representatives of ten different media organisations. How to find the main hero and tell their story – playwright Basa Janikashvili spoke to the participants on these and other important topics during the two-day training programme. The event also touched upon key challenges such as dramatic composition of a story and determining the storytelling sequence.

How to turn the news into a story, how to expand the story from different angles, and how to analyse it critically – these are also some of the topics that journalists received detailed information about. Training included both theoretical and practical components. Participants analysed events that are not visible on the surface, but without which it is impossible to provide the full picture. Journalists also analysed the backstory and determined the dramatic composition of the future.

At the end of the course, participants were issued with certificates by the Media Academy.
