Igrika Ltd received a satellite broadcasting license at the session held today at the Georgian National Communications Commission.

The Georgian National Communications Commission commenced administrative proceedings on the basis of a request of Igrika Ltd on November 11, 2011. Igrika Ltd applied to the Commission for modification of the technical specifications of the license in a way that would enable the company to distribute its broadcasting net worked out within the framework of the private broadcasting license       N B112 through the terrestrial and orbital stations of broadcasting satellite systems.

Igrika Ltd received a license for broadcasting via its cable network by the Commission’s Decision of September 9, 2011. The type of the license is private broadcasting, the form of the license is general broadcasting, and the geographical zone is Georgia. The company plans to start broadcasting within 10 months as from the issuance of the license.
