Internet Governance Forum – Human Rights in the Internet Space

14-15 December, 2015, Council of Europe in partnership with Georgian National Communications Commission conducts Internet Governance Forum – Human Rights in the Internet Space.
The forum to be opened on December 14, at 9:30 am, by the head representative of Council of Europe – Mr Christian Urse, the audience to be addressed with a welcome speech by the Chairman of the Georgian National Communications Commission Mr Vakhtang Abashidze and Mr Carlo Natale, Deputy Head of Delegation of the European Union to Georgia.
In the scope of the two day conference such important issues will be discussed as: internet governance – actors and institutions, human rights protection in the internet space, the standards of freedom of expression in the internet, information security and protection, online journalism in Georgia and the regulation norms in the field of internet.
