Based on an application submitted by “Silknet” JSC, GNCC has begun to review a dispute against “Fiber-Optic Telecommunication Network – FOPTNET” LLC.

“Silknet” JSC disputes the vulnerability of terms and conditions of “Fiber-Optic Telecommunication Network – FOPTNET” LLC’s proposal related to access to the  electronic communication duck channels  located in the  Autonomous Republic of Adjara and some service fee non-payment. “Silknet” JSC demands  from “Fiber-Optic Telecommunication Network – FOPTNET” LLC to make a late fee payment in the amount of 62 175 Gel, as well as, in case of a non-payment of an above-mentioned payment and before the new agreement signage to be granted a right to cancel the provision of its services to “Fiber-Optic Telecommunication Network – FOPTNET” LLC.

The Commission, in accordance with the Georgian law “on Electronic Communications,” has launched the proceedings in order to review an above-mentioned dispute. An essential review session of an issue, where parties in dispute will be given an opportunity to present their own arguments, will be held at GNCC on February 11, 2016, at 3 pm. The session is public.
