GNCC has issued a written warning on a radio owned by “Momavlis Reklama” Ltd by the brand name – “Radio Dardimandi” for violating the rules of commercial advertising.

The monitoring carried out by Commission’s broadcasting regulation department has revealed, that in the sponsorship blocks of “Radio Dardimandi” – (“Oxford Medical Georgia,” Limonati “Hereti,” “Khashis Sakhli,” online casino “Tbilisi.bet.com”)the direct calls  for acquisition and use of goods/services took place, which is the violation of sponsorship, commercial advertising and product placement rules.

In accordance with the Georgian laws “on Broadcasting” and “on Advertising,” it is prohibited to make a direct call for the product acquisition or give a product an excessive importance while placing the product (goods/services) in the program.
