In accordance to the decision of December 29, 2015, GNCC has announced a contest in order to select an administrator for subscriber number portability central database.

According to the contest’s terms and conditions, the citizen of Georgia or a resident legal entity of the foreign country who has provided administrative services for subscriber number portability central database at least in two countries, and the cost for the provision of the noted service doesn’t exceed 500 000 Euros, has a right to participate in the contest.

In accordance to the same decision, contest council has been defined consisting of 11 members for the selection of the administrator for subscriber number portability central database. The contest council is represented by 5 entities employed at the Commission’s office and by the representatives of 5 largest operators: “Mgticom” Ltd, “Beeline” Ltd, “Beeline” Ltd, “Silknet” Ltd, “Akhali Kselebi” Ltd - and one independent expert.

The acceptance of the applications by the applicants at GNCC will start on February 25, 2016, at 10 am and will continue through April 11, 2016, 7 pm.

The first meeting of the contest council is scheduled for April 12, 2015, at 3 pm, the council will make a decision in regard to the selection of the administrator for subscriber number portability central database within 10 working days after the meeting.
