In accordance to the decision made by GNCC, “Akhtel” Ltd has been obligated to present the information regarding the access capability of “Silknet” JSC on free electronic communications ducts and the tariff of this service.

In accordance to the Georgian law “on Electronic Communications,” the Commission shall review the disputes in the field of electronic communications. Public administrative proceedings have been launched based on the application submitted by “Silknet” JSC. The company has been disputing the obstacle that has occurred during the process of access on free electronic communications ducts of “Akhtel” Ltd.

At the public review session of the issue, after investigating the circumstances surrounding the topic, the Commission has determined, that “Akhtel” Ltd has been presented with complete information necessary in connection to the access of “Silknet” JSC on free electronic communications ducts. For this reason, the company, after the submission of certified copy of Commission decision of March 31, 2016, within 5 working days shall present to the Commission and to the party of dispute “Silknet” JSC information regarding the resources available in free electronic communications ducts as well as the tariff established in order to receive the service.
