The Commission has issued a written warning on “G.S.I Technology” Ltd

GNCC has issued a written warning on “G.S.I Technology” Ltd for the breach of the resolution #355 of the Government of Georgia of November 18, 2010 on Approval of Regulation on National Numbering System of Electronic Communications Networks of Georgia. Above-noted proceedings have begun based on a statement submitted by “Magticom” Ltd.

During the service implementation process provided by “G.S.I Technology” Ltd, no call set-up subscriber number has been detected (so-called “A” number), which is the violation of the legislation of Georgia, since, in accordance with the paragraph I of Article 13 of resolution #355 of the Government of Georgia of November 18, 2010 on Approval of Regulation on National Numbering System of Electronic Communications Networks of Georgia, the transfer of an international subscriber number should be  transparent during the provision of electronic communications services.

After the initial review of an issue, the Commission has partially satisfied the prior consent requested by “Magticom” Ltd in regard to the cancellation of the current interconnection with “G.S.I Technology” Ltd; the Commission has considered, that in the documentation presented by “G.S.I Technology” Ltd, the scheme describing the call completion through electronic communications network represents international call completion; “Magticom” Ltd has to provide the access of the calls implemented only by fully identified “A” numbers within its network. In accordance with the same decision, settlement between the companies has to be made based on current international calling rates set forth in 2015.

Taking into consideration these circumstances and the number of above-mentioned issues, GNCC has issued a written warning on “G.S.I Technology” Ltd.
