The Commission issued a written warning on “TV-Radio Company Samegrelo”
GNCC has issued a written warning on “TV-Radio Company Samegrelo” for violating the Georgian Law “on Broadcasting.”
In accordance to the Georgian Law “on Broadcasting,” a person authorized to broadcast, 10 days prior to commencing the broadcasting activities, shall submit to GNCC the documentation certifying the authority of transmitting TV and radio programs, also, publish and furnish GNCC on a weekly basis with program schedule provided through their broadcasting net.
“TV-Radio Company Samegrelo” failed to fulfill above-mentioned obligations required by the law and therefore, has received a sanction in the form of the written warning. Also, the company has been ordered to submit to the Commission required documentation provided by the Georgian law.
