The meeting was held today at the Georgian National Communications Commission with entities authorized for transit of broadcasting. Head of the Legal Department of the Commission, Kakhi Kurashvili held a consultation meeting with entities authorized for transit of broadcasting on fulfilling the legal obligations (so-called must carry)  in accordance with amendments made to the Election Code of Georgia. Representatives of almost all companies authorized for transit of broadcasting attended the meeting. The meeting was held in questions and answers regime. So-called “cable operators” were answered all the questions on so-called must carry principle. Besides, on July 19, 2012 the Georgian National Communications Commission sent amendments made to the Election Code of Georgia in writing to all general license holder broadcasters in Georgia and entities authorized for transit of broadcasting in the Commission’s departmental register.
