Today, on October 8th, GNCC held a meeting with the Personal Data Protection Inspector’s office.  The Commission’s Consumer Rights Public Defender’s service staff was also present at the meeting.

Both parties discussed world-hand experience of the use of personal information for direct marketing purposes and within a given Georgian reality, agreed to start joint working process in order to develop effective regulation method. 

Two state agency officials agreed on close cooperation.
