The Georgian National Communications Commission informs you that in accordance with the Charter on National Numbering System of Electronic Communications Networks of Georgia the numbering of mobile networks shall be changed from June 20, 2011, 00:00.

The mobile subscriber number shall be added “5” as the first digit, for instance, subscriber number      77-XX-XX-XX shall be replaced by 577-XX-XX-XX; in order to make a call from fixed telephone number, for instance, from Silknet, Akhteli or Magtifix numbers to mobile network the following numbering code shall be used: 8-577- XX-XX-XX.

In order to make a call in mobile networks the national prefix “8”shall not be needed and the subscribers of Magticom, Geocell and Mobitel shall connect to each other using the following numbering code: 577-XX-XX-XX;
