The Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) organized the regular open doors day.

Kakhi Kurashvili, head of the legal Department of the Georgian National Communications Commission, conducted the workshop for the representatives of the leading media. Within the framework of the open doors day held for the second time at GNCC the representatives of media were given interpretation of Code of Conduct for Broadcasters, amendments made in April 2011 to the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting and the changes implemented in 2011in accordance with the National Numbering Plan of Georgia.

The meeting held within the framework of the second open doors day lasted for about two hours. The journalists of broadcasting companies operating in Tbilisi, as well as the representatives of regional broadcasters and information agencies attended the meeting. The lively discussion was led in questions and answers regime.

We would like to explain that the open doors day is organized for journalists who report on events connected with the field of broadcasting and electronic communications. The information and knowledge acquired in the course of the workshop will help them to carry out their professional duties in the future
