Radio Georgia and Radio Imedi Licenses Term Prolonged for Ten Years

 

Term of the licenses of Radio Georgia and Radio Imedi has been prolonged for a ten-year period at the session held today at the Georgian National Communications Commission.

Radio Georgia carries out private specialized (entertaining) radio broadcasting in Tbilisi at FM 103.4. For the license term prolongation the company has to pay 10 692 GEL to the State budget of Georgia within one year.

Term of the license owned by Radio Imedi has also been prolonged for a ten-year period. Within the scope of this license the company carries out broadcasting in fifteen broadcasting areas: Batumi, Dedoplistskaro, Telavi municipality – Tsivi, Dusheti municipality – Pasanauri, Kazbegi municipality – Gudauri, Stepantsminda, Gori, Dmanisi, Akhalkalaki, Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi municipality – Bakuriani, Kutaisi, Chiatura, Martvili and Zugdidi. For the license term prolongation the company has to pay 69 356 GEL and 25 tetri to the State budget of Georgia within one year.
