The radio broadcasting preparatory contest meeting has been held
The preparatory contest meeting has been held at GNCC that has been announced for the issuance of radio broadcasting licenses at FM 93,1 in the city of Tbilisi, and at FM 97.5 - in the city of Akhaltsikhe.
Sealed documentation of companies participating in the contest has been officially opened at the public session. “TV-Style” Ltd is trying to obtain radio broadcasting license in Tbilisi and NNLE “ South Gate Union” – in Akhaltsikhe.
Defects were detected in the documentation presented by both companies and they were given 5 working days in order to eliminate deficiencies.
The cost for the use of radio frequency spectrum in the city of Tbilisi is 10 692 Gel, in the city of Akhaltsikhe the cost totals 4 055 Gel.
The public hearing where the conclusion of Commission’s Broadcasting Regulation Department is set to be published will be held on February 2, 2016, at 2 pm. The contest session, where winning companies will be revealed, is scheduled for February 5, 2016, at 1 pm.
