The Georgian National Communications Commission imposed fine in the amount of 50 000 GEL on the Russian TV companies. The TV companies: ”РЕН ТВ”, ”НТВ”, ”ТВ-Центр”, ”Россия” and ”Культура” carried out illegal broadcasting activities on the occupied territories of Georgia.

Pursuant to the ”General Administrative Code of Georgia”, article 144N, part four, unlicensed activities on the occupied territories of Georgia is fined in the amount of 50 000 GEL, but in case of repeated commission of offence the fine is 500 000 GEL.
