Today, the chairman of GNCC Mr. Vakhtang Abashidze and the president of the “Caucasus University” Ltd Mr. Kakha Shengelia have signed the memorandum of cooperation between the organizations.

Within a scope of the memorandum, both parties agree, that by cooperation in the field of education and with joint efforts, they will promote the upbringing of the future generations in the field of telecommunications, gaining practical knowledge and advance qualification skills.

The parties also agree on the participation of specialists in the field of telecommunications in the process of public lectures and discussions.  It will be extremely important for the students to gain practical experience alongside with theoretical knowledge – they will have an opportunity to be able to observe Commission’s radio monitoring stations and to intern in the Commission as well.

It should be noted, that the bachelor program in the field of telecommunications has been officially opened in the “Caucasus University” and the first wave of the students have been enrolled in 2015.
