The companies have unanimously addressed the Commission requesting prior consent related to “Silknet’s” intentions regarding the purchase of “Magticom” Ltd’s current operating assets.

Operating assets consist of fixed (wired) basic assets and equipment needed for the communications networks distribution for 244XXXX subscriber numbers (10 000 subscriber numbers in total).

Based on a research study, the Commission concluded, that no impediments exist in order to refuse “Silknet” a prior consent for purchasing operating assets owned by “Magticom.”

In addition, taking into account the consumers’ rights and legitimate interests in the field of electronic communications, the Commission has assigned companies with a task to inform subscribers using  244XXXX  subscriber numbers owned by “Magticom” Ltd in regard to the change of the service company.
