GNCC has issued a written warning on “Alioni” Ltd for an illegal re-transmission of certain broadcasting channels.

”Alioni” Ltd, an entity authorized to broadcast, has been examined by the Broadcasting Regulation Department of the Commission. As a result, it became clear, that the company was distributing following broadcasting channels without proper permits and licenses: “1st Channel of Public Broadcaster,” “Imedi,” “2nd Channel of Public Broadcaster,” “Georgian Channel,” Mega TV,” Palitra TV,” Saperavi TV,” Maestro,” “Ertsulovneba,” “Dro,” “Comedi TV,” GDS TV,” “Rustavi2,” Marao,” Objectiv,” Adjara,” Rioni,” “TV 11”, “THT” and “PY TB.”

In accordance to the Commission’s decision, “Alioni” Ltd has been assigned to immediately cease an illegal re-transmission of above-mentioned channels.
