GNCC has issued a written warning on an entity authorized to broadcast- “Shoni XXI” Ltd for re-transmitting some broadcasting channels without proper permits and licenses.

Within current administrative proceedings, the company was unable to present the documentation proving legal re-transmission of following broadcasting channels: “Media Union Objectivi,” “Palitra TV,” TV 11,” “Marao,” “Comedy Channel,” “Tabula,” “1^st Channel of Public Broadcaster,” “Rustavi 2,” “Imedi,” “Kavkasia,” “Adjara,” “Ertsulovneba,” 2^nd Channel of Public Broadcaster,” „Шант ТВ.”

According to the Commission’s decision, “Shoni XXI” Ltd was assigned to cease an illegal re-transmission of above-noted broadcasting channels.
