GNCC has granted an approval to “Sigulda” Ltd in order to obtain TV and radio broadcasting authorization. “Sigulda” Ltd has become an authorized entity to ensure TV and radio broadcasting. Broadcast distribution technology will be internet, along with other technologies (use of cable networks and terrestrial satellite systems). The company is set to broadcast in Georgian language, day and night, at least for 6 hours. “Sigulda” Ltd (brand names “TV Max” and “Radio Max”) plans to start its practical activities from April1, 2016.
