GNCC has issued a written warning on “TV Company Tbilisi” for violating the advertising time limit.

 In accordance to Article 64, paragraph 2, of the Georgian Law “on Broadcasting,” on broadcaster’s channel, with an exception of specialized advertising and/or Teleshopping channels, commercial ad and/or Teleshopping (Teleshopping Spot) has to be placed between commercial cuts in such way, that its volume within broadcasting hour doesn’t exceed 20%. According to the monitoring carried out by Commission’s Broadcasting Regulation Department from June 29 through July 1, it has been revealed, that the broadcaster has been placing commercials violating 20% time limit per broadcasting hour. In particular:
