GNCC has been reviewing a dispute by JSC” Georgian Railway” against NNLE “Media Center For Open Abkhazia” in regard to the placement of an improper advertisement that eventually has reached an agreement.  

Through the air of radio “Voice of Abkhazia,” for two months, a broadcasting commercial of “Hallo Taxi” was placed, which advertised the services of “Iveria Motors” Ltd offering travels to Batumi by cab. JSC “Georgian Railway” believed, that ad was dishonest, and it was damaging to the company and misled the listeners.

During the review process, in accordance to the recommendation of GNCC, parties of dispute have reached an agreement, causing the removal of controversial issues and administrative proceedings have been settled.

Radio “Voice of Abkhazia” will air the commercial ad of JSC “Georgian Railway” for two months.
