David Zilfimiani, director and founder of Stereo+ Ltd, made an ex parte application at the public sitting held yesterday at the Georgian National Communications Commission. According to David Zilfimiani a number of broadcasting license holder companies using frequency spectrum existing in the Georgian territory breach the terms of the license and geographical area of their distribution is beyond the coverage area defined by the terms of the license.

The Georgian National Communications Commission appeals to all broadcasting license holder companies using frequency spectrum to make sure that geographical area of signal distribution is in compliance with the terms of the license. In case of interferences the Commission is ready to provide technical assistance to willing broadcasting companies.

Besides, in accordance with the Georgian legislation the Commission is empowered to conduct monitoring and to take appropriate measures in case of discovering violation.
