The term of broadcasting license of TV Company Samegrelo was prolonged for ten years at the session held today at the Georgian National Communications Commission.

The Georgian National Communications Commission commenced public administrative proceedings on prolongation of the term of licenses of 25 broadcasting companies for a next ten-year term by the Decision of December 2, 2011. TV Company Samegrelo was among them. At the session held at GNCC on December 30, 2011, the Commission took a decision on prolongation of the term of licenses of 24 broadcasting companies; only the session on issue of TV Company Samegrelo was postponed for 10 days, because an unauthorized person represented the company at the session of December 30, 2011. Besides, the company had not filled in the declaration of conformity.
