The chairman of Georgian National Communications Commission Vakhtang Abashidze  received a delegation from the People’s Republic of China. The delegation consisting of 13 members was lead by the vice-chancellor of Engineering Academy of the People’s Republic of China - Pan Yunhe.

Both parties discussed the possible partnership in electronic communications field, in particular, in development of informational technologies and data transfer. They also discussed the topic regarding the possible development of fiber optical networks in the scope of “ Silk Road Economic Belt” project.

The members of both countries made future partnership agreements.
