By the resolution of Georgian National Communications Commission 4 competitions announced for issuing radio broadcasting licenses.

“Chveni Radio” Ltd, “Akhali Media Jgupi” Ltd and Private Entrepreneur “Akaki shvelidze” requested announcement of competitions for issuing radio broadcasting licenses. “Chveni Radio” Ltd requested announcement of the competitions for issuing private general radio broadcasting licenses is Kutaisi, Batumi and Zugdidi, “Akhali Media Jgupi” Ltd - for issuing private general radio broadcasting license in Batumi, while private entrepreneur “Akaki shvelidze” - for issuing private specialized radio broadcasting license in Martvili . The cost of the use of the license for the next 10 years in Kutaisi (FM 93.9) defined as 8 100 GEL, in Batumi (FM 95.3) - 8 100 GEL, in Zugdidi (FM 99.1) - 6 075 and in Martvili (FM 93.5) - 1 077 GEL.

Receiving documentation for participating in the competitions will proceed until 23 March 2017, 17:00. Preparatory meeting will be held on 28^th March at 13:00, where sealed documentation of contestants will be opened publicly. Oral hearing session of the competition will be held on 27^th April at 13:00. Conclusion of Audiovisual Media Services Regulation Department of Commissions’ office regarding broadcasting concepts of the contestants will published on the oral hearing session. Winners of the competitions will be nominated on the session of 2 May 2017 at 13:00.
