The Commission has issued written warning upon “Mze” Ltd
At the session held on April 23, GNCC has issued written warning upon cable operator “Mze” Ltd.
“Mze” Ltd currently provides its services in Kutaisi. Based on a study carried out by the Commission’s Broadcasting Regulatory Department, it was revealed, that cable operator “Mze” Ltd exercised re-transmission of following channels without proper permits and licenses: “Mega TV,” “Rustavi 2,” “Imedi,” „1st Channel of the Public Broadcaster,” “Dro,” “Comedy Channel,” GDS TV,” Kavkasia,” TV Malli,” 2nd Channel of the Public Broadcaster,” “Adjara,” TV 3,” “Rioni,” “Enki-Benki,” “25th Channel,” MyVideo,” “Карусель,” and “THT.”
Considering these circumstances, the Commission has issued written warning upon “Mze” Ltd and ordered to stop illegal re-transmission of the above-mentioned channels.
