TV Company Channel 25 was imposed sanction for violation of the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting at the session held today at the Georgian National Communications Commission.

In accordance with amendments made to the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting regarding media transparency all broadcasters were charged to upload the declaration of conformity on their websites and to submit it to the Commission. According to the Law in case of changes to the foundation documentation broadcasters are obliged to notify the Commission within 10 days and upload the changes on their websites. TV company Channel 25 made changes to the company foundation documentation, but TV company has not published the changes on its website and has not submitted it to the Commission.

A representative of Channel 25 attended the session and confirmed the violation.

By the Commission’s decision TV company Channel 25 was imposed written sanction – warning.
