The Georgian National Communications Commission commenced public administrative proceedings on issuing of a broadcasting license. ITEtv Ltd applied to the Commission for a broadcasting license using terrestrial and orbital stations of broadcasting satellite systems. The type of the license is general broadcasting; geographical area is Georgia; broadcasting duration – 24 hours. A public hearing regarding the issue will be held at GNCC on July 20, 2012, at 16:00. The Commission will make its decision within 10 working days after the public hearing. The application and attached documentation submitted by ITEtv to the Commission is in compliance with the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting.
