Vakhtang Abashidze Chairman of the Commission
The Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) elected unanimously Vakhtang Abashidze as Chairman of the Commission.
Election of Chairman has been held today at the Georgian National Communications Commission publicly. Only one candidate - Vakhtang Abashidze participated in the election.
We remind you that in accordance with amendments made to the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting in October 2013, Chairman of the Georgian National Communications Commission is elected by the Commission itself, with the majority of Members, for a three- year term.
Vakhtang Abashidze will take office on May 20, 2014.
