ComCom Finds Formula Multimedia in Violation but Exempts It from Liability

The Communications Commission found Formula Multimedia in violation of the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting but exempted the company from liability. Specifically, Formula Multimedia failed to submit to the Communications Commission the statistical reporting forms for the second quarter of 2026: Form 1.5 – Sources of Broadcaster Financing; Form 1.6 – Paid and Free Services Provided to the Broadcaster; and Form 1.7 – Funding Provided by Legal Entities/Individuals, reported separately for advertising or teleshopping placement, sponsorship, services provided, and donations. Under the law, a media service provider is required to submit the relevant forms to the Commission by the 15th day of the month following the end of each quarter, providing information on sources of broadcaster financing, services provided to broadcasters, and sources of broadcasters’ revenues.

As Formula Multimedia completed and submitted the aforementioned forms before the matter was considered at a public hearing, the Communications Commission found the company in violation but exempted it from liability.
