ComCom Trains Kindergarten Teachers in Martvili in the Use of the Internet
The Communications Commission continues to implement the Digital Support Programme in Martvili, within the framework of which it trained the administrative staff and teachers of the Kindergarten Union on digital literacy and purposeful use of the internet.
As part of the programme, 34 trainings have already been conducted in Martvili, and 560 local residents have been trained. Participants attend the trainings free of charge and receive guidance on important topics such as searching for the desired information online, using Google applications, utilising social media platforms, identifying disinformation, safe internet use, and more. The objective of the trainings is to foster critical and logical thinking skills within the society.
The Communications Commission is conducting the trainings in the target settlements of Martvili Municipality, including the villages of Didi Chkoni, Doberazeni, Meore Gurdzemi, Meore Kitsia, Mesame Balda, Najakhavo, Nakhunavo, Nogha, Oche, Patara Zhinota, Saberulavo, Skurdi, Targameuli, Tsinakverkve, and Vakha. Individuals aged 14 and above from these settlements have the opportunity to receive free training and enhance their awareness about safe internet use. Upon the completion of the seminars, beneficiaries are awarded certificates.
