Scientific-research publication of the head of the Commission’s Radio Frequency Management Department – Mr. Sergo Shavgulidze, has been published in the American journal “„IEEE Transactions on Communications.“
In Mr. Sergo Shavgulidze’s next article (attached) is presented a new decoding algorithm of generalized concatenated codes, which can be efficiently used both – during data transmission through communication channels, as well as, for encoding of so-called flash memories. The above-mentioned journal is considered as one of the most high-level journal of scientific-research works, with an impact factor - 2.298. The work is performed together with German scientists, with a support and financial aid of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
