The national numbering system is determined by the Government of Georgia in agreement with the Commission.

According to the Law of Georgia on Electronic Communications, “the grounds for issuing a permit for the use of numbering resources shall be the availability of free resources and an application of a permit seeker to obtain a permit.”

In order to obtain a permit for the use of numbering resources, an applicant shall pay a numbering resource usage fee set by the Regulations for the issuance, use and payment for numbering resources”.

According to the Law of Georgia on Electronic Communications, “a permit for using numbering resources shall be issued only for carrying out authorised activities in the field of electronic communications, with annual renewal for an indefinite period.”
