Despite numerous attempts of GNCC, the Commission was unable to deliver a notice to “CTV Georgia” Ltd regarding the date and timing of the public session scheduled for the purpose to examine the issue to revoke company’s authorization. Therefore, a summary of the notice sent to “CTV Georgia” Ltd is officially being published at the Commission’s web-site.

In accordance with section 2 of Article 95 of the General Administrative Code of Georgia, please be advised, that a public session scheduled for July 14, 2016, at the Georgian National Communications Commission (hereafter the Commission) for the purpose to examine an issue to revoke an authorization of “CTV Georgia” Ltd based in accordance with sub-paragraph c) of Paragraph I of Article 19¹ of the Georgian law “on Electronic Communications” has been postponed and is to be held on July 21, 2016, at 3 pm, at  the following address: Tbilisi 0144, Ketevan Tsamebuli Ave/ Bochorma Str. 50/18.

In accordance with sub-paragraph c) of Paragraph I of Article 191 of the Georgian law “on Electronic Communications,” the Commission is entitled to suspend/revoke an authorization by its own initiative if an authorized person violates legislative requirements established by the Georgian law and a written warning or a sanction has already been imposed due to the violations.

Please be informed, that in accordance with the Articles 98 and 99 of the General Administrative Code of Georgia, you are entitled to furnish proves and petitions to the Commission for the purpose to study circumstances surrounding an issue, get acquainted with case materials, request the copies of existing administrative documents and other materials.

 Please, ensure the participation of your authorized representatives during Commission’s sessions and administrative proceedings.

The Commission considers, that publishing the summary of a notice at the Commission’s official web-site (www.gncc.ge) and at the public space is an alternative form for “CTV Georgia” to get familiarized with the case.
