GNCC has issued a written warning on “TV-Vazi” Ltd – an entity authorized for transit broadcasting due to an illegal re-transmission of few broadcasting channels.

GNCC has issued a written warning on ,,ALTERVISION TV“ Ltd due to the failure to present information to the Commission and also, has stopped its authorization for the next 3 years based on company’s application.  

In accordance with GNCC’s decision, “Kvira TV” Ltd has been denied to carry out an authorization in the field of broadcasting.

GNCC has launched a media-monitoring of preliminary period of self-government mid-elections on April 2, 2016, and within 50 days, 24/7,  will monitor 4 broadcasting channels ( “TV-Company Kavkasia” Ltd, “TV-Company Tbilisi” Ltd (MusicBox), “Independent TV-Radio Company Odishi” Ltd and “Independent Broadcasting Company Guria” Ltd).

GNCC has issued written warnings on interrelated companies “Akhali Kselebi” Ltd and “Akhtel” Ltd for the violation of Copyright and Related Rights.

GNCC, in accordance with the decision of December 29, 2015, has announced a contest for the purpose to select number portability central database administrator

GNCC has registered “Eurasia XXI” Ltd as a broadcaster in the departmental registry of authorized undertakings.  

At the session held on April 7, 2016, GNCC has granted rights to use numbering resource to several companies.

GNCC, based on application submitted by “Momavlis Reklama” Ltd (Radio Dardimandi) has launched public administrative proceedings for the purpose to carry out the modification of company’s radio broadcasting №B59 and №B76 licenses.

GNCC has fined citizen D.K in accordance with the Article 1441   of the Georgian “Code of Administrative Offenses” in the amount of 5 000 GEL for the provision of electronic communications services without proper license and authorization.
