ComCom and National Property Agency Teach the Population of Ozurgeti to Use the Electronic Auction Platform

As part of the Digital Support Programme of Log-in Georgia, the Communications Commission, with the support of the National Property Agency, organised a training in the municipality of Ozurgeti. Around 50 people from target villages familiarised themselves with the electronic auction platform eAuction.ge, learning about the capabilities of the portal, as well as the ways to register and purchase and sell property. The training was attended by officials from villages in the municipality of Ozurgeti, representatives of the local social centres and programme beneficiaries. On-site training coordination was provided by the head of the Medial Literacy Department of the Communications Commission Maka Dakhundaridze.

The electronic auction portal www.eAuction.ge was launched in 2010. Public auctions have been replaced with a transparent and flexible electronic system. The portal allows both residents and non-residents to purchase and/or manage movable property and real estate without any obstacles. The website also allows the purchase of state property.

The Log-in Georgia project has been implemented to support the State Internetization Programme of the Georgian government. It has been co-funded by the World Bank and the European Investment Bank.
